While student in Cleveland, his "Fiesta/' incorporated in annual show production by Tri­angle Club at Princeton. Later wrote and produced 1935 Princeton show Stags at Bay. While law student at Stanford Univ. wrote "Give Me a Gibson Girl"; "Autumn Leaves"; "Stupid Cupid." Law student at death. Bradford, James C, composer, author, conductor, arranger, organist; b. Rochester, N.Y., June 13, 1885; d. Neponsit, L.I., May 11, 1941. ASCAP 1928. Educ.: public schools, New York; studied music Ocean Grove, N.J. auditorium with Dr. Tali Esen Morgan. Well-known child pianist, traveled extensively. Was connected with Columbia Varsity Shows; taught piano and also had own orchestra at Asbury Park. From beginning of professional career as conductor and organist interested in music of motion picture theaters and studios. A pioneer in preparation of musical ac­companiments tor motion pictures from early twenties. Said to have col­lected the largest library of film music extant. Film music inc.
